An opportunity presented last month to watch men’s world #1 and #2, Netherlands vs Germany in the leg 1 of FIH Pro League 2024/25 season at the Wagener Stadium, Amstelveen. Amstelveen is one of the suburbs of Amsterdam. Netherlands is #1 ranked team and most recently won the gold in 2024 Paris Olympics. Germany is #2 and most recently won the 2023 Hockey World Cup in Kalinga Hockey Stadium in Bhubaneswar, Odisha, India.
