I discovered the confidence in developing Windows & web apps in the late 1990s. The programming journey started with Basic & Fortran. I was drawn to the possibilities offered by the Microsoft stack of those times- Visual C++, Visual Basic, SQL Server, ASP (active server pages), COM (component object model) architecture. I also had brief tint with the Java stack with J2EE (java 2 enterprise edition), Java Servlet, JSP (java server pages), EJB (enterprise java beans) and Oracle database. Witnessing the launch of the .NET Framework on 15-Jan-2002 was a memorable occasion.
Despite the passion for technology, the enthusiasm is driven by a business purpose. Not technology for its own sake. From 2000, the aim is to empower organizations use technology for business growth, profitability & transformation. 25 years since, the adventure is on. I specialize in supply chain, more specifically logistics domain/industry. The progress is documented in LinkedIn.
